FAQs
Are all ME—Studio pieces handmade?
Yes. Every piece is made individually by hand in my Los Angeles studio using natural, vintage and small-batch materials. Slight variations in shape, color and texture are part of what makes each piece unique.
How long will my order take?
Most pieces are made to order. Please allow approximately 2–3 weeks for your piece to be made before shipping, unless otherwise noted.
Can I request a custom length or variation?
Sometimes. If you have something specific in mind, email hello@margauxelliottstudio.com before ordering and I’ll let you know what’s possible.
How do I choose my Family Constellation Anklet or Necklace?
Choose the number and grouping of pearls that feels meaningful to you. Two for two children, four for a family of four, or any combination that represents the people you want to keep close.
How should I care for my piece?
Keep jewelry away from water, perfumes, lotions, oils and other chemicals when possible. Silk-knotted pieces should be kept dry, as moisture can stretch and weaken the thread over time. More detailed instructions can be found on the Care page.
Can I shower or swim in my jewelry?
I don’t recommend it. I know, I know, but pearls are delicate and silk can definitely stretch and weaken when wet.
How do the glasses chains attach?
Each glasses chain includes adjustable rubber eyeglass loops designed to fit most eyewear.
What is your return policy?
Because each piece is handmade to order, all sales are final.
What if something arrives damaged or isn’t right?
Please email hello@margauxelliottstudio.com with a photo and a brief description of the issue and I’ll make it right.
Do you offer repairs?
Yes. Things happen. If your piece breaks or needs a little attention, please get in touch. Repairs are considered individually.
For repairs within the United States, customers are responsible for securely shipping the piece to me using a trackable method. ME—Studio will cover standard return shipping once the repair is complete.
Can vintage beads or pearls be replaced exactly?
Not always. Many of the materials I use are vintage, natural or sourced in small quantities, so exact replacements may not be available. I’ll always do my best to find something that feels right with the original piece.
